At the No Barriers Conference

Sendero Group and HIMS teamed up to provide a GPS clinic at the No Barriers conference in Telluride Colorado this past weekend.  We recorded 18 points of interest around the Mountain Village including one at the Diggity's Dogg hotdog restaurant.  Our guide dogs, representing 3 schools all converged on Diggity's Doggs as their favorite location, just ahead of the grass outside the Peaks Resort Hotel.

The Mountain Village is a very accessible place for a blind person after you jump through the hoops to fly to Denver, then Montrose and then take a 90 minute shuttle to the resort.

The town of Telluride has lots of shops and restaurants.  My favorite was
221 Oak just outside the Telluride Gondola station.

We had unusual thunder storms in the afternoons, which put a damper on GPS exploration but fortunately, we could use the virtual mode to explore without getting wet. This is the fifth No Barriers, harkening back to Cortina Italy, and we look forward to the next in two years.
