This Christmas 2009, like most, the GPS guided me to Kirkwood for 3 days of skiing with family and friends. We picked up Carson and Wyndham from 3 days of race training in North Tahoe and headed around the Lake to our favorite Sierra skiing in Kirkwood where several feet of fresh snow had just fallen and kept falling.
We were joined by my college room mate, Rich and his family from Chicago as well as my nephew Brandon and his new wife Rachel. See us all in the attached photo on Chair 4 at Kirkwood. It was great to be together with the common enjoyment of skiing with family and friendship that transcend both time and distance.
